This past Tuesday, President Trump was quoted as telling reporters at the UN that an impeachment would be "a positive for me in the election."
There are others who support his theory; Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale was quoted as saying, “The misguided Democrat impeachment strategy … will only serve to embolden and energize President Trump’s supporters and create a landslide victory for the President.”
GOP Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota agreed, adding that “backing impeachment will cost Democrats their [House] majority in 2020."
Of course, the President's logic makes sense. Naturally, impeachment is an unpopular things. In past polls taken of the American people, all Presidents who have been impeached or threatened to be impeached had support from the American people to stay in office. In theory, is history repeats itself, the American people will rise up and resist the Democratic push for impeachment.
At the very least, backlash from impeachment will produce greater voter turnout for Trump & the GOP in the upcoming 2020 election.
I know we all will join forces, rise up, and do our part to keep 45 in office & put these crazy dems & libtards back in their place.
